How are you different from a recruitment agency?

A recruiter introduces you to a candidate and charges a placement fee — then you handle hiring, contracts, payroll and compliance yourself. With CuratedCrew, the developer joins our payroll. We stay involved long after onboarding and you get one simple monthly invoice. No placement fee, ever.

When do I pay?

Only after a developer has actually started working with you. Sourcing, interviewing, reference checks and shortlisting are all free.

What if the developer isn't a great fit?

Every developer comes with a risk-free trial period. If it's not working out — for any reason — we replace them at no cost. After the trial, you can release a developer with 30 days' notice.

Where are your developers based?

Globally. We source from talent hubs across Europe, Asia and Latin America. Most clients work async; we'll match developers to your timezone overlap requirements.

Who handles taxes, contracts and benefits?

We do. Every developer is employed or contracted by CuratedCrew under the appropriate local entity, with benefits and statutory contributions handled by us. You receive one invoice in your currency.

Can I hire the developer full-time later?

Yes. We support transitions to your own payroll after a minimum engagement period — without surprise conversion fees buried in fine print.

How fast can someone start?

Most clients see their first shortlist within 3–5 business days and have a developer working within 1–2 weeks of saying yes.

Do you do short projects or just long engagements?

We focus on medium-to-long term engagements (3+ months) where the value of curated, accountable hiring really shows. For short bursts, freelance platforms are usually a better fit.
